  Join FOPP Board member and local birding guide Bubba Scales on this Friends exclusive, members-only field trip to Persimmon Point, a limited access area of Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park.
  
  Persimmon Point is an old field - turned - plum grove with a high bluff overlooking a rare vista over the wild eastern extent of the prairie basin. It is an environmentally and culturally significant section of the prairie only accessible by special arrangement with park management.

  There will be about three miles of hiking over maintained but uneven trail.

  Trip capacity is strictly limited and precise meeting details and other instructions will be sent to you in an event confirmation email as soon as you submit your registration.

  If you have a family membership and would like to register a family member, you may sign additional family members up by adding them to your "bundle" by signing into your membership profile at www.prairiefriends.org.
