Fire and Flowers Adventure

Join us for a fun two-mile hike with the park biologist.  You will have the opportunity to discover one of the parks most unique trails while learning about resource management techniques used at Paynes Prairie.  The park biologist will specifically review the use of prescribed fire and identify it’s benefits to the wildflowers in bloom.  Come experience some of the most exquisite and unique native plants that thrive when supported by a natural fire cycle.    

What to bring: closed toed shoes, bug spray, water, a camera, and a sense of wonder.
