Sunset and Moonlight Walk

Embrace fall evenings and join us for a sunset and moonlight walk on La Chua Trail.

We will meet in the La Chua Trail parking lot at 5:00 pm so we can make our way to the prairie in time for sunset and twilight.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of dusk and early night beside the Alachua Sink and on the Prairie.

You are welcome to bring a flashlight, but we request that flashlight use be kept to a minimum while out on the trail. However, the parking lot will be dark when we return and additional light sources may be helpful.

Dress comfortably for hiking outdoors in the evening. Shoes that are good for walking on a trail with varying conditions (some grassy, some sandy, some muddy) are recommended.

Cost is $3 per person.

Walk is limited to 15 people.
