Evening Bird Walk

Join us for an evening bird walk on Friday, June 13th at 7:30 pm.  We will meet in the La Chua Trail parking lot and plan to walk along the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail; hoping to see owls and other nocturnal wildlife.  This is a casual walk on what we hope will be a beautiful summer evening.  Dress for walking outdoors, and potentially on a grassy trail in case we decide to walk along "Sparrow Alley" or La Chua.  Bring your binoculars, water bottle, and a flashlight for when you return to the parking lot.  We ask that you try to keep flashlight use to a minimum during the walk, but it will be dark in the parking lot when we return and the flashlight will be helpful. 

This happens to be a "Friday the 13th" and a full moon... sounds like a great evening for a stroll down the trail!
