Family Birding Series: Introduction to Birding

Join us for birding fun on the 1st Saturday of every month November through April. 9:00am - 11:00 am. Topic and meeting location varies for each session. Children are encouraged to attend but must be accompanied by an adult.

Session 1 meets at the Paynes Prairie Visitor Center. 

Topic:  Introduction to Birding

Birding basics, using binoculars, and birding ethics.  Brief talk and walk trail onto the prairie.

Program is free, but Park Admission fees apply.
