The Advisory Committee of the Friends of Paynes Prairie, Inc. is a group of citizens who possess specialist knowledge in subjects of importance to Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, and who wish to contribute their services in support of the Park. Individual members will be available to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors to answer questions and provide guidance in their fields of expertise. They should alert the Executive Committee to new developments in their fields which may impact Friends or the Preserve.

Members of the Advisory Committee will be considered for candidacy for the Board of Directors as positions become available, and where eligible. They will be required to be members of the Friends of Paynes Prairie, Inc.

There is no requirement for meetings of this Committee, although members may wish to convene in order to prepare proposals to the Board of Directors.
